I am a freelance Accredited Indexer and Advanced Professional Member of the Society of Indexers with over 20 years’ experience of indexing. I work with authors, publishers, self-publishers and packagers to deliver high-quality, objective and user-friendly book, periodical and database indexing.

Although I am available to index most subjects aimed at a general readership, I specialise in indexing material in and about French and Spanish. I have a degree in French and Spanish and previous commissions have included the translation of French indexes into English and vice versa, preparation of indexes in English and French for bilingual publications, production of an index in French for a secondary education text book and the production of indexes in Spanish for Spanish language books aimed at academic and higher education readerships.​​

I also welcome commissions in many other areas, in particular health, social sciences and humanities.

​I am available throughout the year and pride myself on keeping to every deadline, as well as the positive feedback and word-of-mouth recommendations I receive from satisfied clients.
Indexes can be supplied in the format of your choice either as a traditional, back-of-the-book, standalone index or embedded into Word or InDesign files and are prepared using Cindex and Index-Manager indexing software.
